World Toilet Day (WTD) is an official United Nations international observance day, celebrated on 19 November, to raise awareness of the global sanitation crisis. This is done through public communications, campaigns, reports and events. Worldwide, 4.5 billion people live without “safely managed sanitation.” This problem is evidence of the global sanitation crisis which mainly affects people in developing countries. World Toilet Day is a call to action to reach everyone in the world so that their human right to sanitation is realized.

 

On the occasion World Toilet Day, Mr. Lokesh Shitanshu Shrivastava, Founder and National President of Public Political Party (PPP) asked to Modi Government to give Bharat Ratna to the Father of Indian Sanitation Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak (Sulabh Internationl). He is a Brahman but his life mission is sanitation. This is the real service to the citizen of India. When Public Political Party (PPP) shall come in power defiantly First Bharat Ratna shall be given to Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak (Sulabh Internationl).
