How to Save 100% Income Tax by Donation to Public Political Party (PPP) u/s 80GGB & 80GGC of Income Tax Act 1961 ?
Step 1: Become Special Member (Annual Fee Rs. 3650/-) / Corporate Member (Annual Fee Rs. 10000/-) of Public Political Party (PPP). The Membership Fee must come from Donor’s same bank account from which he/she want to give donation. After becoming the Member of Public Political Party you shall get Membership Card (For Individual) / Membership Letter (For Corporate) to show before Income Tax Authority at the time of scrutiny (If Requires).
Step 2: If you want to donate upto Rs. 20000/- No need of any documentation of Donor. If you want to donate above Rs. 20000/- you must have to give your Name, Address and PAN (Permanent Account Number). Due to Prevention of Money Laundering Public Political Party (PPP) limits the First Donation from the Donors. First Donation Limit (FDL) for Individual Person is Rs. 500000/- (5Lacs) and for Corporate is Rs. 10000000/- (1Crore). Second donation is having no limits.
Sep 3: You can collect your Donation Receipt Next Working Day from our Central Office (Public Political Party Central Office, 3 West Guru Angad Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110092 ) else we send it by Registered Post within 7 days to address given by you.
Step 4: At the time of submission of ITR you shall have to submit a copy of this Donation Receipt to claim your 100% Income Tax Exemption. There is no need of any additional documents like 80GGB/80GGC Certificate or 13A Certificate. For political party this is inbuilt feature.
Benefit of Donation to Public Political Party
- If a Person donate to Public Political Party (PPP) shall get 100% Income Tax Exemption u/s 80GGC of Income Tax Act, 1961. Any Indian Citizen or NRI who is having valid Indian Passport can donate. Indian citizens can make their tax-deductible donation to the Public Political Party (PPP) from their Indian and Foreign accounts.
- If a Company/Trust/Society donate to Public Political Party (PPP) shall get 100% Income Tax Exemption u/s 80GGB of Income Tax Act, 1961. Any Indian Company / Trust / Society or Foreign Company / Trust / Society can donate which is having less than 50% foreign share, as per Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).
- Any person/company/trust/society can get loan from Public Political Party (PPP).
- Any person/company/trust/society sell/buy property to/from Public Political Party (PPP).
- Public Political Party (PPP) can give/get donation to/from any NGO (Trust/Society)
- Any profit (by business/capital gain/Interest/Rent or in any source or donation) of Public Political Party (PPP) is not taxable u/s 13A of Income Tax Act, 1961
- If donor doesn’t want to show his/her identity can donate electoral bond of Rs. 1000 / 10000 / 100000 / 1000000 / 10000000. Electoral Bond is substitute of cash donation. But in cash donation donor shall not get any tax benefits u/s 80GGB/80GGC. (Presently Public Political Party is not eligible for electoral bond.)
How to Donate and Get Financial Relationship with PPP?
Donations to Public Political Party (PPP) are governed by the Indian law. Under this law, only an Indian citizen or an NRI holding an Indian passport can donate. Please note that the Party is required to submit details of all donations to the Election Commission periodically and for this purpose, it is required for the donor to provide his / her personal details. The Party guarantees that this information will not be used for any other purpose. If Donation is above Rs. 20000/-, donor shall have to mention his/her Permanent Account Number (PAN). Cash Donation shall not be accepted above Rs. 2000/- as per guideline of Election Commission of India. Electoral Bond is a substitute of cash donation only.
